The Hope Tree

The Hope Tree is a massive and ancient tree that stands in the frigid lands of Icebeach. Its trunk is wide and gnarled, its branches stretching high into the sky. Despite this, they recognize the importance of offering a safe space for those in need and have chosen to protect and care for the tree.   Those who take refuge under the Hope Tree speak of feeling a sense of peace and warmth, even in the midst of the bitter cold. Some even say they have been healed of their ailments or had their spirits lifted while in its presence. The tree is also known to be a place of pilgrimage for those seeking guidance or solace.   It's also said that druids of the land are able to communicate with the tree and it's believed that the tree has a consciousness of its own and it's capable of giving guidance and advice.   In the center of its trunk, there's a small opening that leads to a small cave where the druids believe the tree's heart is located. They believe that it's where the tree's magic is concentrated and it's the source of its warmth.
