The citizens of the city would gather to offer sacrifices and prayers in hopes of gaining the goddess's favor and avoiding harsh winter conditions.   Frost Moon: A month-long celebration of the power of Morena, the Frost Moon is a time to reflect on the goddess's role in the world, and to give thanks for the blessings of winter. Followers of Morena would perform rituals and sacrifices to appease the goddess and ensure that winter remains mild.   The Long Night: A night of contemplation and reflection on the goddess's role in the world. Followers of Morena would spend the night in meditations and prayers, seeking guidance and wisdom from the goddess. It is also a time to remember those who have died during the winter, and to honor the goddess's role as a bringer of death.
